Pearl Harbor is today one of the most frequently visited tourist attractions in Hawaii. Interestingly, Pearl Harbor has as many visitors from Japan as it does from the United States.
  • Located on the southern end of Oahu, Honolulu is a harbor city located 2550 miles southwest of Los Angeles. Honolulu is dually the capital and the largest city in the Hawaiian Islands. The island of Oahu is situated within the Hawaiian Islands to the southeast of Kauai and northwest of Maui.

KAUA'I

  • Kaua'i is the oldest of the five main islands in the Hawaiian archipelago. Today, Waialeale, Kaua`i's principal volcano, has eroded and now stands at 5,148 feet at its peak. The volcano is also home to one of the wettest spots in the world; the northern slopes of Waialeale get over 450 inches of rain annually.
  • Kaua'i is situated in the Hawaiian Island chain in the Pacific Ocean. Of the major islands, which include Hawai'i, Maui, Moloka'i, and O'ahu, Kaua'i is the furthest west. The Hawaiian Islands are approximately 2,600 miles from mainland United States.

MOLOKA`I

  • Lana`i is often called Hawaii's most secluded island, and for good reason. For many years, almost all of Lana`i was dedicated to growing Hawaii's most popular export, pineapples. Also, because of the island's tiny size (only 18 miles wide by 13 miles long), Lana`i is frequently overlooked for larger tourist hotspots like Honolulu and Waikiki.
