FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

The LifeBalance Program Now Available in Washington State

PORTLAND, OREGON (January 2004) - The New Year marked the launch of the LifeBalance Program in Washington State. On January 1st the LifeBalance Program launched their suite of services for Washington employers, health plans and membership organizations. The LifeBalance Program now services both Oregon and Washington clients alike.

"This expansion includes statewide coverage in Washington, highlighting over 60 different recreational and cultural categories with hundreds of participating Washington businesses providing discounts and benefits to LifeBalance members. Additionally there are currently well over 100 LifeBalance Member Events planned throughout Washington in the first quarter alone, " explained Dave Miller - Director.

The LifeBalance Program is the largest and most diverse work/life balance program available for Northwest employers! Focusing on recreational and cultural offerings, the LifeBalance Program provides access to thousands of cost saving benefits and services from more than 800 recreational, cultural, fitness and wellness-centered businesses. These businesses offer services, equipment, instruction, memberships, tickets, etc. at reduced rates to all LifeBalance members. In addition, the LifeBalance Program pre-plans more than 400 different recreational and cultural LifeBalance Member Events each year for members and their families to enjoy. Events offer preferred tickets, professional instruction and other special services not available to the general public.

Additionally, all existing clients in Oregon will now have access to all program services in Washington at no additional cost. "We decided to offer existing Oregon clients access to all program services in Washington, not to earn additional revenue from them, rather to provide more value to our members and as another way to secure those strong client relationships," mentioned Paul Alati - Director.

LifeBalance will look to secure additional strategic relationship with Washington employers, health plans and membership organizations throughout the second quarter of 2004. "We have lofty membership goals for Washington, but if the Washington market welcomes this type of program as Oregon has over the last several years, we are confident we will meet and exceed our expectations," added Alati.

Since 1998, the Oregon based program has averaged over 300,000 LifeBalance Members while sustaining continual membership growth each year.
