LifeBalance Program Partners with Providence Health & Services in California
PORTLAND, OREGON (January 2010) - The LifeBalance Program is pleased to announce a partnership with Providence Health & Services in California. As of January 1, 2010, all benefit-eligible employees at Providence hospitals and facilities in California have access to the active wellness program LifeBalance, which features an expansive network of savings as well as online wellness tools to help employees take a proactive approach to their health and well being.
“The LifeBalance Program has enjoyed long and successful relationships with Providence Health & Services in Oregon, Washington and Alaska, and we are thrilled to now offer the program to Providence’s employees in California” said LifeBalance Director Paul Alati. “Our team has put together a fantastic vendor network in California and we are excited to present this comprehensive wellness program to our newest members.”
The LifeBalance Program is an active wellness program that offers members savings at thousands of recreational, cultural, wellness and travel related businesses. In addition to the vendor savings network, the program also features a myriad of on-line wellness tools and relevant wellness content to educate, plan and monitor progress in exercise, activity and food selections.
In offering the LifeBalance Program to the company’s 9,700 employees, Providence Health & Services California joins the growing number of employers who have invested in employee health and wellness.
