LAIKA, Inc. Selects LifeBalance Program as Employee Benefit
PORTLAND, OREGON (September 2009) -The LifeBalance Program is pleased to announce a partnership with LAIKA, Inc. On August 13th, 2009, LAIKA officially unveiled the program to employees at the company’s first annual benefit fair. In partnering with LifeBalance, LAIKA joins a number of prominent Northwest employers who are utilizing the program to develop a happier, healthier and more productive workforce.
LAIKA representatives feel that the LifeBalance Program, with its exclusive network of savings on a wide variety of recreational, cultural, wellness and travel related services and activities, is a perfect fit for the company’s active employee base.
“We have a very health-conscious company culture,” said Athena Gray, LAIKA’s Senior Compensation and Benefits Analyst. “We had previously participated in a gym membership program that offered discounts to our employees. Unfortunately it didn’t fit everyone’s needs and utilization was low.
