LifeBalance Program Partnership a Success for Xenium Resources

Portland, Oregon, November 09, 2005 - In 1998 Xenium Resources needed a unique benefit program that would set them apart from their competitors while also meeting the progressive health and wellness needs of clients. It was at that time that Xenium Resources partnered with the LifeBalance Program to provide to clients as a value-added component of their HR services. Since then, Xenium Resources has successfully doubled their business. Increasingly, employees are placing more significance on wellness programs within their benefits packages. Through LifeBalance, Xenium has remained on the cusp of the wellness program trend. The LifeBalance Program focuses on encouraging healthy lifestyle choices by offering its members exclusive discounts to health clubs, yoga studios, massage therapists, personal trainers and over 1,800 other recreational and cultural organizations throughout Oregon, Washington and Alaska.

Anne Donovan, Vice President of Client Services for Xenium Resources, felt it was important to offer clients a program that would increase employee retention, help facilitate recruitment, increase productivity, and express concern for employees' well-being. In recent years companies have pushed for employees to take a proactive approach towards their health. With insurance premiums at an all-time high, wellness programs are on the rise as an affordable method for employers to curb burgeoning health care costs. "When the LifeBalance Program was presented to us our decision to buy was based on the uniqueness of the program and it's affordability," says Donovan.
