Find Your WAIST to hip ratio

The following tool will help you calculate your waist to hip ratio. Generally speaking, a waist to hip ratio of greater than 1.0 for men, and 0.85 for women indicates that you may have an "apple" shape, which could indicate future problems involving obesity, diabetes, heart disease, hypertension and stroke.

If your waist to hip ratio is above 1.0 for a man, or 0.85 for a woman, don't worry. Just keep this information in mind as you plan and execute your wellness routine.

  1. Your Waist Measurement in inches (at the narrowest point)
  2. Your Hip Measurement in inches (at the widest point)
